Jaime Wolfson, born in Mexico in 1974, studied piano, conducting and composition with J. Marian, L. Hager, E. Ortner and M. Jarrell in Linz and Vienna and attended interpretation courses with G. Kurtág, H. Zender, Ch. Wolf and G. Nussbaumer.

Since 2009 he has been conductor and pianist of the ensemble Platypus and performed at festivals such as the Klangspuren, Wien Modern and at concerts in Mexico and Brazil.

Neben seiner regen Konzerttätigkeit in Österreich, Japan und Mexiko, studierte er 2011 die komische Oper von W. Mitterer “Baron Münchausen” für die Wiener Taschenoper und Wien Modern ein.
